Honestly, I meant to post some stuff a lot earlier and I feel awful because I've been on the same page in my translation for over a week. I swear the final page and half is taunting me. So finally I've gained access to a computer after four days but I still haven't finished the chapter. Ed's had a kitty cold which is making her especially clingy and if I'm out of my bedroom (where she stays most of the time), but still in the house somewhere -such as downstairs on the computer trying to work- she'll start crying.
I can't stand to hear a kitten cry, people. I'm too soft.
However, being the six-pound wrecking ball that she sometimes is, it's hard to get work done when she's downstairs with me because I've got to keep an eye on her.
So, due to the above mentioned circumstances as well as others unmentioned, here I am in my bed with my mom's laptop. My translation work will have to wait, at least until this evening when my sister will be home to (hopefully) keep an eye on Eddie downstairs while I work.
I apologize to the girls at Aarinfantasy, especially the readers of "Boku no Koi" for not being able to keep my "it'll be done by Christmas" promise. Really, I'm usually good with setting due dates for myself. Granted, I tend to procrastinate and cram at the last minute.
If it's any condolence to you, Eddie says hi; she's playing with the laptop cord. Also, if anyone is in the area, I will be attending Tekkoshocon this April. I'll probably be there during late morning to the evening on Saturday the 12th. I'd love to meet some of you, not just my LJ friends, but anyone from Aarinfantasy, too.
Lastly, I truly intend to get the chapter out this week. It'll probably kill me though because I have work 3 nights in a row and midterms are starting this week. (Isn't high school great?) Please send flowers and doujinshi to my funeral.

Lastly, on the note of Tekko, I visited my old elementary school the other day and ran into another Vic fan. Just as I was about to leave, this girl, seventh or eighth grade, came up to me and asked 'Wh-were you at Tekko, in the Vic panel?' and I was like "...Yeah?" because I never mentioned that to anyone there. Then she goes 'I was the Winry in the back!', then I recognized her. She was SO CUTE. We talked a bit and it turns out that we both read Tokyo Mew Mew as our first manga, in the SAME grade. She was surprised to learn that I was going to Japan and she said that I was lucky but everyone called her a dork. I just told her "Don't let anyone call you a dork, 'cause I'm dorking my way to Japan!"
I was so touched.

There were TONS of FMA cosplayers and surprisingly a lot of Chobit's Chii cosplayers too. Greg Ayres was there too but I never got to see him (I heard he slept in because he was at the bar the night before).
Its still going on now, but I couldn't go for two days. Plus, my mother wanted me to go to church today too, but I found out yesterday that Vic actually holds services every Sunday he's at a convention.
Woah. Its like Sky Dark's dream come true (or at least Roy's in TARM: SET). THE HOLY CHURCH OF EDWARD ELRIC. I'm converting.
